Create a delicious, healthy green smoothie with island flavors. This smoothie is super filling and is packed with healthy ingredients. It’s a great way to start your day!
Hey all! This is a quickie but a goodie! A classic green smoothie with an island twist.
I make smoothies almost every day for breakfast and I love how quick and easy they are to prepare. I love trying new flavors and I figured I should share my latest favorite since it’s been a while since I posted a smoothie recipe on the blog.
What makes a great green smoothie?
Well, we definitely have to start with some quality ingredients. I love to pack tons of nutrients into my smoothies since they are usually the first thing I eat during the day.
For this green smoothie, I used chia seeds and hemp seeds from Bob’s Red Mill. They have a great amount of protein and extra goodies like fiber that turn this smoothie into a super powered meal.
I also added orange juice, spinach, fresh coconut, mango, and pineapples. I said this smoothie was a meal lol.
Now to blend it all together…
I love this green smoothie because it’s so easy to make. Literally just throw everything in a blender and blend until smooth.
