- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 6 tbsp guava paste
- 6 oz Manchego cheese or your favorite melty cheese
- coarse salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Cut each puff pastry sheet into 6 equal sized squares, 12 total. On six of the squares, add 1 tbsp guava paste and top with about 1 oz of cheese. Leave some room around the edges, about 1/4 inch. Brush edges with water or 1 beaten egg. Cover each square with one of the remaining puff pastry squares. Using a fork, crimp the edges. Sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove and let the pastries cool before eating. Enjoy!
